What I collected while out junking to craft a Vintage Doll Assemblage

If you are interested in rescuing vintage pieces from Flea markets, thrift stores, junk shops & garage sales & transforming them into something beautiful for your home or even to start selling, I am happy you can join me today! Welcome to my blog!
Below is a list of the vintage pieces  I used to create this Vintage Doll Assemblage.

1. Vintage doll in pink dress
2. Old book of poems
3. Vintage Rhinestone necklace & Rhinestone button
4. Flowers from an old hat
5. Lace & a crochet piece cut from a table runner
6. Saying cut from inside a vintage greeting card
7. The love of losing yourself in a craft project!

The components listed to put this assemblage together are bits and pieces I have gathered from many junk shopping trips.
When you are out & about and spot something as simple as a little stack of old greeting cards you must rescue them for your stash!! Just look at how a little snip from inside that rescued card finishes off this project.
Just keep going out on the hunt and soon your stash with build up with all the little vintage sweetness you've collected & you will be on your way to assembling some beautiful pieces in no time.

Don't forget about ebay and etsy too! When you are stuck inside, a little online shopping can score some great unique pieces!

Altered Vintage Doll County Fair Summer Decor

Find a little lonely doll at the flea market? Rescue her please!!
Just dress her up for a summer county fair!
I added a little vintage pig (he was a salt shaker) & crafted a 1st place blue ribbon. I had a sweet crown to make the pig more special too.
She is standing on a vintage ribbon spool (when out junking...it is important to pick up even a little plain ribbon spool because you never know when it will come in handy!) Flowers from an old corsage & a County Fair banner complete her look.
So next time you are visiting a flea market or junk shop & see a little doll, just imagine all the possibilities!
